About Us

Tim Nevin, his daughter Molly and our entire team are passionate about cleaning. As a former property and facilities manager in California and Hawaii, Tim co-founded McNevin Cleaning Specialists in 1987 in South San Francisco. His principal goal was and is today to serve the San Francisco Bay Area's commercial and facilities management industry. In 1998 Molly, herself a former commercial property manager throughout California, joined the family business. "Grandpa Tim," as he is affectionately called, is hopeful one of his grandchildren will carry on the "3rd generation" tradition in years to come! Pictured are some of them cleaning up the Half Moon Bay beach during this year's Earth Day.

Whether you're calling to inquire about commercial or residential cleaning, you may hear barking in the background - we're a pet-friendly office. Gussie (Grandpa Tim's Bull Mastiff), Barney (Pug), Hope (Border Collie, McNabb and Queensland Heeler), and Boo (Bulldog) work alongside us and Dillon (Black Labrador Retriever) makes an occasional appearance. guess we prefer dogs! By the way, we're often asked where our name "McNevin" comes from; Tim's mother's name was McNamara, so he combined it with Nevin.
